With the help of its volunteers and consultants, CRJ aims to save lives, alleviate suffering and protect the dignity of people affected by conflict and natural disasters through appropriate, effective and rapid interventions. directly or by volunteering its expertise to national and international non-governmental organizations.

  • Act concretely, efficiently and quickly on the ground through emergency operations in humanitarian assistance and protection;

  • Undertake post-crisis programs to facilitate local communities to take charge of themselves;

  • Work in partnership with local, national, international NGOs or with any natural or legal person, public or private in order to achieve the above-mentioned objectives.

An African proverb says: “If you give a man a fish, he will eat one day; if you teach him to fish, he will always eat''.

Undoubtedly, this proverb has the meaning of empowerment, namely: It is more profitable to teach a person to take care of himself than to continuously help him.

Since sustainable development is "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs", it  is as essential that local communities understant, not only the guiding principles of sustainable development, but also the means to make a contribution to it in order to reconcile economic and social progress with the preservation of the environment.

In this regard, has among others tasks:

  • Promote learning opportunities for local or disadvantaged communities; (People living with disabilities, Displaced or Refugees, Children, Women, etc.);

  • Promote the access of women and girls to training for their social and economic development;

  • Through popularization, promotion and any other action; encourage the preservation of the environment (Water, Sanitation, Pollution, Consumption, Production, etc.);

  • Work in partnership with local, national, international NGOs or with any organization (Universities, Companies, Institutions, etc.) in order to achieve the objectives mentioned above.

  • Train, advise, and support.

  • Undertake any study, research or partnership with a view to achieving the objectives that CRJ assigns, among others, humanitarian assistance and protection as well as sustainable development (environment, quality education, etc.).
